Blakey’s is a popular town centre café bar located within King George’s Hall that has a good reputation for quality food and drink at realistic prices. Blakey’s doors open from 8.30am serving breakfasts and lunches through to 3.30pm. Extensive menus are available throughout with a choice of light snacks and main meals, but also remember to check out Chef Dan's specials board for unusual and contemporary additions. All our food is freshly made where possible, and made with locally sourced ingredients.

 Shreds of 6-Hour Braised Pork Rib Eye with Homemade Barbeque sauce - Served with Potato wedges and dips

Jumbo King prawns pan fried with Lime, Chilli and Garlic Served with Rocket on a Tomato Tortilla

King George's Chunky Chilli - Slow braised chunks of beef, served with a tortilla stack, salsa and sour cream with a choice of rice and chips

 New Look Blakey's

Blakeys has just undergone a 3-week refurbishment, we have had a little re-design and a paint job. And the outcome is a very stylish bistro type atmosphere, perfect for a coffee with friends or a nice place to have a meeting away from the office. Our menu has a few new additions, but we have also kept all the 'old favourites', so why not come down and try some of our new meals. You will always receive a warm welcome at Blakey's!

Pre-Concert Suppers

Blakey’s offers a variety of quality suppers before most shows and concerts. Come dine with us before your concert starts and make a real meal of the night! Starter & Main course £14 or Main course & Dessert £14, but if you're really feeling up for it, how about a Starter, Main and Dessert for just £17.
