The 2000-capacity (1807 seats, 2000 seating & standing) Concert Hall is King George's largest auditorium and a venue for major concerts and theatrical productions across a broad spectrum of entertainment.
Entertainment
Everything from Opera to Pantomime - King George's Hall offers the very best of modern and traditional entertainment. We have the facilities to stage almost any production and we believe in promoting a wide variety of work. As well as more traditional family entertainment, King George's Concert Hall features musicals and ballets to stand-up comedy shows.
Classical Music
King George's has a tradition of presenting some of the finest classical music. We have an ongoing programme of classical music, featuring the talents of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the Halle Orchestra. We are also privileged to feature several leading conductors and soloists, in a varied and exciting classical season.
Pop & Rock Music
As well as big name stars from the current charts, the Concert Hall also presents the best from the charts of yesteryear. See our 'What's On' page for our current shows.
Other Events
King George's Hall plays host to events of all kinds and, for larger events, the Concert Hall provides the perfect venue. The Concert Hall was recently transformed into a television studio when the BBC's 'Question Time' filmed here, many organisations choose the Concert Hall for presentations and awards.
