Diversity 10th June 2010

Thursday 10th June saw Britains Got Talent winners Diversity come to King Georges Hall. With special guests Amber, Fe-nix, and Out of the Shadows. Blackburn saw Diversitys signature dance moves and a  great atmosphere!

Wednesday 9th June saw Strictly Come Dancing star Brendan Cole perform Live at King Georges Hall. He brought along all the glitter and glamour of a spectacular dance show! Friday 4th June saw The Drifters perform an outstanding show at King Georges Hall. Maurice Cannon, Steve King, Damion Charles and Michael Williams sang classics like  ’Saturday Night at the Movies’ and ‘Under The Boardwalk’ to the crowd. The night had a great atmosphere and everyone seemed to have a great time.

Fri 28th May saw five snooker legends come to King George’s Hall for a one night only of snooker nostalgia, with some of the greatest players ever to play the game. Billy Ocean - 11 May 2010

R.L.P.O - 8 May 2010

The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra came to King George’s Hall on Sat 8th May in conjuction with Self Unlimited in aid of  the Design for Life Appeal.  The concert theme was Music from the Movies with the ever popular Carl Davies CBE conducting.

Last Friday was the first George’s Comedy Club and it went down a storm. MC John Cooper got the sell out crowd going and comedians Debra Jane Appleby, Danny Deegan and headliner Brendan Riley kept everyone laughing throughout the night.

Doves- 2nd May 2010

 

Sunday night saw nearly 2000 fans descend on King George’s Hall to see Mancunian born alternative rock band ‘Doves’.
Local Bolton band ‘Cherry Ghost’ supported, playing to a full crowd of fans with a fantastic atmosphere!

Canadian comedian Stewart Francis performed in the Windsor Suite on Saturday night and had the audience laughing to his signature ‘one liner’ jokes.
The atmosphere on the night was amazing and the comedian was a hit with the fans!
