The Frog and Bucket 7 Nov 08

The second ‘You Must Be Joking’ comedy festival got under way last Friday with The Frog and Bucket club night that will surely not be forgotten in a hurry!  With MC John Scott along with fellow comics Dan Nightingale, Alex Boardman and Brendon Burns also welcomed to the stage Blackburns own Peter Kay in Waiting, 15 Year Old Lewis Costello, who performed his very first comedy club and proved very popular with the audience.  And…well there was Brendon Burns, not everybody’s cup of tea, and the ‘This show may cause offence’warning was certainly needed, but we think the majority of the audience enjoyed this If.Com award winner.

Were you there?  Let us know what you think.

Frog & Bucket 7th Nov was excellent, Brendon Burns was something else!! If anyone was offended, well, they were warned! He was a complete breath of fresh air, a scary breath of air tho’. Can’t get his mad performance out of my head . . . .

Comedy Club brilliant as usual. Brendan Burns not my cup of tea but my fiance loved him! As for Lewis Costello, He was very funny, if only he could of stayed on longer :) x

Brendan Burns…..
Spoilt a good night out. Seemed only the people having had much of the `amber nectar` thought he was funny, I noticed that at least two tables were vacated, soon after he came on.
Anyway, lets forget B.B., The other guys were great, just what my group,(15) and I needed.

This was my first time in seeing the Frog and Bucket show and thought it was hilarious! I loved all of them especially the first one but wasnt that keen on brendan! Although alot of people found him funny i thought it was a bit over the top and werent really doing any jokes just swearing and shouting! Just not my thing even thou the impression on arnie was funny! efinatly booking for next time
