Last Friday was the first George’s Comedy Club and it went down a storm. MC John Cooper got the sell out crowd going and comedians Debra Jane Appleby, Danny Deegan and headliner Brendan Riley kept everyone laughing throughout the night.

I thought Debra was really good, very funny. Was not keen on Danny Deegan.. too intense for my liking and his humour about kiddly fiddling did not overly impress me. Thought Brendan Riley was ok…. but for me the Comedian of the Night was Debra Jane Appleby… would happily pay to see her again.

I was there,the evening was fab,even though the second act,Danny Deegan wasnt much to laugh at in my opinion,but the other 2 where Fab!!!
Yes there was a little banter from the guests but you have to expect that.
The only draw back was that the drinks where watered down.
