John Bishop 22 Feb 2010

Scouse comedy hero John Bishop came to King Georges Hall last week with his much lauded show ‘Elvis has left the building’.  He regaled the sold out audience with many tales of his rise to fame and the effects it has had on him and his friends & family.  Everybody in the audience seemed to have a great evening with laughter filling the hall for the 2 hour show.

John first visited us here a few years ago as a relative unknown and it’s great to see him doing so well and not forgetting about us, he’s coming back in November to play the main concert hall!!!  It will certainly sell out so book ‘em soon!!!

Were you here last week?  What did you think?

John Bishop was brilliant - his observational humour was absolutely spot on (we had also just got lost round the one way system) and we laughed from start to finish. We’ll definitely get tickets to see him again.

This was the second time my partner and I have seen John now, the 1st being last July at the Hi-Fi Club, Leeds. His humour is something most can relate to, and his delivery is fantastic! I have tears rolling down my face almost all the way through I laugh so hard. Simply can not wait to see his show again, and even better he is on the telebox quite a bit this week.

Top comedien - have already pre-ordered his DVD that comes out later in the year. Only fault was the venue - I was sat at the back and couldnt see him - but could hear him fine.

Excellent night - haven’t laughed so much in ages - will definitely be coming back to see him.

Best comedian I’ve ever seen live- end of. Proper stomach ache funny material delivered the way only a scouser could! Brilliant show!

Laughed from start to finish, we had fab front row seats and being scousers thought the begining with Ned hilarious, so off the cuff and natural, you couldn’t have written it. Loved it!!!!
