Dylan was amazing, really funny show! not the longest, but what do u expect when he is playing such small venues! if he was playing Manchester MEN or the o2 then i would have expected more… personally i though he used the time he had extremely well! Brlliant show!!!

Dylan was awesome!!! My boyfriend and I didn’t think much of Blackburn unfortunatey and ended up having to stay in Chorley over night! Tickets were a bit pricey for such a short show, but couldnt have sat for any longer on those chairs!!

over all it was worth it all to see Mr Moran

What a brill night, it was worth travelling through driving rain from Bury. We thoroughly enjoyed Dylan, he was just as good as on DVD and in Black Books, would definately come to see him again, in fact there are still places available in Manchester, so might just go there too.

Funny whilst he was on but not value for money. When you pay for tickets and travel a distance you expect any performer to do more than an hour or have a good support artist as well. The half hour break was as long as Dylan Moran was on for each half hour of his act, very poor. Ken Dodd still does 5 1/2 hours on his own at his age!!!!!

What a fantastic venue! A great little theatre, just perfect for the sort of intimate gig from Dylan Moran. Unfortunately for me I thought he wasn’t as good as I expected him to be. Hilarious material, but I felt he seemed to lose track and occasions interest. A very sort set. Passed on my thoughts to my mates, I expec\t they wil not be eagerly searching for the rest of the tour.

I thought Dylan was hilarious. The guy is unutterably funny each time I watch him, whether it is live or on TV. This was the second time I have seen him live and I will definately go to see him again. I urge all those who enjoy laughter to seek out this comedy demi-god; you won’t regret it.

What a nite!!! Not sure the room change was what I was expecting, the room size was good although I dont feel it was set out to its best advantage. Massive dissapointment over the air conditioning and the lacking service at the bar.

But dont stop trying please, not everone is good at change.

Are you going to try something different next time?

Still loved it and desperate for more, Im counting down already. See you next time xx

disappointed, attended for the last ten years, worst night ever. room changes bad idea. jazzfunk is a more expressive dance,consequently people need more room than those that dance to R&B/ modern soul. what criteria did the management choose to differentiate between my ticket money and someone else’s, they got R&B from 9.00pm till 03.00am i did not get jazzfunk/ disco from that time, therefore tickets sold incorrectly. music is becoming stale, at times, DJ’s need to make more effort and stop resting on their past success.

Agree with the others we didn’t like the room swap and wasn’t aware of this till much later on in the evening. The music when we were upstairs in the northern room was very loud and sounded distorted, a great pity. However as usual we enjoyed the evening and the good atmosphere.

I can echo some of what has been said. Definitely think it’s WAY TOO DARK DOWNSTAIRS-MORE LIGHT PLEASE!! Too hot-the question of air conditioning really needs addressing, I think. Last time I suggested that the jazz funk should be in King georges, with the R & B downstairs and maybe northern in Blakey’s? Yes, Blakey’s does feel a bit like a cattle market….Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE these nights, but some things need sortin’ man. Great that we can have our say!!!
